Welcome to Orchid House Café. Located in the heart of Downtown Trenton, we’re the city’s best-kept secret for specialty drinks, good eats, and a vibrant mix of arts and culture.

Founded in 2015 as a community hub and event venue, Orchid House has hosted a diverse range of events, including musical showcases, book fairs, art exhibits, workshops, and private gatherings. In 2023, we completed our transition into a full-service café, blending food, culture, and community under one roof.

 

Today, Orchid House is also home to the Fig | Mint Cooperative Market pilot, launching in December 2025. Through this initiative and our partnership with Geils Farm, which spans 31 acres of cultivation, we’re connecting fresh, locally grown food with the city while creating new pathways for cooperative ownership and community wealth.
